FEEDBACK

On 24th Street

Asked on Sunday, March 18, 2012, near Chase Bank at 24th and Noe streets:

What do you like to do for fun in San Francisco?

Kevin Dolan, Elizabeth Street: I have a plot in the community garden at Crags Court. My wife got it for me after I complained about not being able to garden at home. I also love to go to Golden Gate Park, Glen Park, and the Embarcadero to walk my dog. I like to cook as well, so I love going to the Noe Valley Farmers Market.

Mollie E., 24th Street: I volunteer at Animal Care and Control, socializing cats. I also like to go on urban hikes around the city. I walk home from work sometimes.

Eric Jones, Vicksburg Street: I spend a lot of time with my daughter at various playgrounds, especially Douglass Park and Upper Noe. We like to go to the Farmers Market and Martha’s [Coffee]. I like to stroll down 24th Street back and forth a couple times.

David Wickman, Cesar Chavez Street: I like to go out and eat at smaller, intimate restaurants with unique food. Firefly is great. So is Incanto. I also love a good burrito.

Andrew Gescheidt, 23rd Street: I bicycle on my own special trail. I start on Noe, go out the south end of Noe through Glen Park to O’Shaughnessy to the top of Twin Peaks, and back down the other side of Twin Peaks.

Claire Bobrow, 23rd Street: I like to go to the Opera and the Ballet. Contigo is one of my favorite restaurants. I also like to go to the movies and watch my kids play sports and sing. I like to go to the library too.

Kim Pannell and Julie Kramer, Church Street neighbors: We like to eat, get coffee, and see live musical performances. We like to go to the Warfield and the Fox to see the big performers. We also like to go to venues like the Rickshaw Stop, Amnesia, and Bottom of the Hill to see smaller performances.

Peter van Lieshout, Noe Street: I like going to festivals around the city, Golden Gate Park, and Twin Peaks. When the weather is nice, I like to sit out on the terrace with my friends and drink coffee. I like to scoot around the city on my scooter. I also like to go to hidden restaurants for dim sum in Chinatown. I sometimes go on architectural tours throughout the city.
